O-1 VISA

The O-1 is a nonimmigrant visa granted to individuals with extraordinary abilities or achievements in science, arts, education, business, or athletics. It allows them to work temporarily in the U.S.

The O-1 is divided into two areas. O-1A is utilized for individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, education, business, or athletics, and O-1B is utilized for individuals with extraordinary ability in the arts or extraordinary achievement in the motion picture or television industry. To apply, applicants must demonstrate their extraordinary ability through evidence such as awards, publications, testimonials, or other evidence of substantial notoriety and obtain a job offer from a U.S. Employer. Eligibility for the O-1 is also dual-sided, meaning that both the offered position and the foreign national applying for the position must meet the eligibility requirements.
