Our History
Founder Janie Sapon entered law school with the focused intention of becoming an immigration attorney. While clerking, she gained hands-on experience with family-based cases. After graduation, Janie joined an existing immigration law firm but felt there was room in the industry to offer improved customer service. In 2013, she launched Sapon Immigration, building from a foundation of problem-solving, personal connection, and accessibility. Individualized attention has always been the hallmark of this firm.
In the beginning, we focused on family-based cases, but it soon became apparent that a need existed for corporate immigration support. Soon, employers approached us in high volume, seeking employment immigration services. Our team realized that recruiting foreign talent was another challenging piece of the puzzle for most employer clients. Our problem-solving nature kicked in, and Sapon Immigration expanded, hiring recruitment specialists to develop a full-service approach to talent acquisition, job placement, and employment immigration. Our firm still offers a complete range of family-based, legal immigration services while specializing in top-to-bottom employer recruitment, individual candidate placement, and long-term strategic partnerships with agriculture, food processing, and industrial businesses.
