We are recruiting Food Safety Quality Assurance Technicians for desirable positions in the U.S. to conduct food safety audits, collect data and test products, and report results to the FSQA manager.
SALARY
$22.78 per hour, plus benefits
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Mexican residency
Passport, minimum six months validity
Advanced-level English
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Degree or minimum of two years of technical coursework in one of the following fields:
Biology
Chemistry
Food Science
Food Safety
Animal Science TIF postmortem
Veterinary Medicine TIF postmortem
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
Using/applying theoretical and practical knowledge of chemistry and biology in all aspects of the HACCP Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs.
Collect data on all products through visual and instrument inspection.
Conduct food safety audits.
Collect data on and test all products for risk of chemical or microbial contamination, spoilage, or environmental contamination.
Inspect products for appearance, color, leanness, PH level, water holding capacity, intramuscular fat, and nutritional value.
If products fail any tests, determine if they can come within specification or must be discarded.
Report data or inspection results to FSQA Manager to support their work in analyzing production operations.
